Governors should access a wide range of training and development. LGFG offer a comprehensive skills audit which delves into the areas of development specific to your governors. A clear plan is put together and maintained, reviewed and analysed to ensure that your governors are moving in the right direction.
Training can come in a variety of forms from sessions offered by the local authority, in house training from industry professionals, family of schools workshops and staff training events. We offer to do the research for you and provide a plan with the most appropriate and cost effective ways of upskilling your governors.

The agendas and documentation provided are simple, jargon free and easy to follow. Minutes can be typed during the meeting and saved to a secure OneDrive / GovernorHub, meaning the clerk has no need to take away handwritten notes or confidential information from the meeting, providing you with peace of mind in regards to GDPR. Handwritten minutes are also an option should you prefer that. Any papers that have been necessary to retain are destroyed at the appropriate time through a registered confidential waste company.

Prices start from £120 per meeting for clerking, annual support packages and day rates are available for further support. Meetings can be held by Zoom or Microsoft Teams depending on your preference!

The GovernorHub is an excellent GDPR compliant tool for document storing and sharing. It provides an easy to use web based system for governors to access files, a specific calendar, information on the make up of the governing body and more. There is also a handy app!
